October to March is a good time to visit India. Winter, especially from December to February, is really nice. There are many fun things to do like going to festivals, doing outdoor sports, and sightseeing. Here's a quick list of what you can do each month. In January, there are fun parties in Goa, a book festival in Jaipur, and camping in Jaisalmer. In February, you can go to a big party in Goa, a desert festival in Jaisalmer, and dance festivals in Khajuraho, Konark and Mamallapuram. March is when Holi, the festival of colors, takes place and Goa has its own special version of it.

There are even more great places to visit when summer comes around from April to June. You can go to the mountains like the Himalayas, the Western Ghats, and the Eastern Ghats. They have beautiful hill stations where you can relax. In May and June, places like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Darjeeling, Gangtok, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Munnar and others are great to visit.
