Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

 

  • Day 1: Bangalore to Coorg

    As soon as you reach Bangalore, someone from our team will meet you at the airport or train station. Then we will take you to Coorg at a distance of about 5 hours. Once you reach, we will help you check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore or just relax. Maybe wander through the local market and pick up some great souvenirs or just relax and enjoy the stunning mountain views. You will spend the night in Coorg.
     
  • Day 2: Exploration of Coorg

    After breakfast, get ready for a day full of sightseeing in Coorg - often referred to as the "Scotland of South India". You'll tour coffee plantations, learn how coffee is made, and enjoy beautiful landscapes. Later, we will head towards the fort built on a hill where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. We will also stop at a unique temple called Lord Omkareshwar dedicated to Lord Shiva. Back to hotel for one more night stay in Coorg.
     
  • Day 3: Coorg to Mysore

    After breakfast, we will check out from Coorg hotel and drive to Mysore. On arrival there, we will drop you off at your hotel. After some rest, we will take a city tour, starting with the famous Mysore Palace. It is an architectural marvel! We will also visit a temple situated on the top of Chamundi hill which gives a wonderful view of the city. You will spend the night in Mysore.
     
  • Day 4: Mysore to Wayanad

    Wake up early, have breakfast and then we will leave for Wayanad. After you reach there, we will check you at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Wayanad is known for its waterfalls, spice plantations and historical caves, so there is a lot to see or do here. Or you can just relax and enjoy the natural beauty around you. You will stay overnight in Wayanad.
     
  • Day 5: A day in Wayanad

    On the fifth day of your tour, after breakfast, you will embark on an adventure to explore Wayanad. During this journey you will get to see some famous and beautiful places:

    Chembara Peak: It is one of the highest mountains of the Western Ghats and also the highest peak of the Wayanad Hills, standing at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level. Chembara Peak is located close to Meppadi town. It is connected to the Nilgiri Hills in Tamil Nadu and Vallarimala in Kozhikode.

    Edakkal Caves: A famous attraction known for its ancient paintings depicting humans, animals, symbols and letters. These paintings are believed to date back to around 6000 BC and provide insight into how people lived within caves during that distant era.

    Banasur Sagar Dam: This dam is recognized as the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest dam in the whole of Asia. It is composed of large heaps of stones and boulders, built on the Karamanathodu River, a tributary of the Kabini River located in Kalpetta.

    Pazhassi Tomb: In Wayanad, there is a museum containing the belongings of the Pazhassi king, including his sword. This monument is maintained by the Kerala State Archeology Department.
    Once you are done exploring these incredible places, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Wayanad.

     
  • Day 6: Time to say goodbye

    Our journey ends here. After a delicious breakfast, it is time to check out and transfer to Calicut airport or train station for your onward journey.
