Day: 1 Arrival Kolkata

Arrival in Kolkata at International Airport and proceed to hotel for Check-in and overnight stay.

Day: 2 Kolkata / Bagdogra / Darjeeling (100 Km / 3 Hrs)

Checkout from the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Airport to catch your flight for Bagdogra and from there continue forward journey by road to Darjeeling. Check-in to your hotel on arrival and overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day: 3 Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour

Start your day early with a visit to the Tiger Hill to view the sunrise from behind the Hills of the Region and for some breathtaking views. En route to hotel visit the Ghoom Monastery. Enjoy a toy train ride from the famous hairpin bend to Darjeeling before you reach the hotel for breakfast. Start your half a day sightseeing tour which includes: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Market. Break for lunch. And continue your sightseeing trip and see the famous Tea Gardens of Darjeeling and alongside the Museum and the Botanical Gardens- home to the flora of the hilly region. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day: 4 Darjeeling / Pelling (130 Km / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to our next destination- Pelling- situated in the west of the state is the second largest tourist attraction and famous for its virgin alpine plantations, numerous waterfalls and amazing views of the Kanchenjunga Mountain Range. Other major attractions include Local Monastery, Rock Garden Singshore Bridge and the famous Kanchenjunga and Chhange Falls. Enjoy the serene beauty of the hilly retreat and relax for a whole day with an overnight stay in a hotel.

Day: 5 Pelling / Gangtok (120 Km / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Gangtok. En-route visit the Khechoepalri Lake and Sangacheoling Monastery. Later we continue to drive towards the Capital of Gangtok- Major tourist attraction due to its pristine natural beauty and an important center of Tibetan and Buddhist traditions in the country. Check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day: 6 Gangtok City Tour

After breakfast start your day long sightseeing of this rich in flora and fauna region with a visit to Tsongmo or Changu glacial lake - as you see yourself surrounded by the natural aviary with myriad species. Visit Dro-Drul Chorten Stupa-home to relics and religious books of the Buddhist Faith. See Rumtek Monastery –which is one of the most celebrated once in the region. Also on the list for the day is Himalayan Zoological Park to complete your class in botany and zoology of the hilly region. You get time to shop and visit the Government Institute of Cottage Industries (GICI), to pick handcrafted authentic items showcasing the unique weaving patterns and designs which are now a hallmark of the region. Meander along the Lal Bazaar and dip yourself in mélange of colors and crafts as you interact with the local ethnic tribes from the town as they go about conducting their daily chores. Return to hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day: 7 Gangtok / Phuentsholing (200 Km / 6 Hrs)

Check out after breakfast and drive to the India-Bhutan border town of Phuentsholing. The town is quiet and peaceful and in contrast with Indian markets. Evening is free to relax and explore on your own. Check-in on arrival and overnight stay is in Hotel.

Day: 8 Phuentsholing / Thimpu (175 Km / 6 Hrs)

The day starts after breakfast as you get ready to visit the Zangtho Pelri Monastery known for its wooden paintings. Later complete your visa formalities before you get ready to enter Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. Visit Kharbandi Gompa surrounded by the flora and fauna of the region. Check-in on arrival and overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day: 09 Thimpu tour

After breakfast starts your day-long tour of Thimpu. Visit Wangchuk Memorial, Taschichho Dzong and the Handicraft centers. Free time to enjoy and explore the local bazaar and markets and enjoy the pristine beauty reflected in the dialect dress and decorum shown by the commoners in the town of Thimpu. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day: 10 Thimpu / Punakha (85 Km / 03 Hrs)

You are checking out and drive to the next destination - Punakha. Visit the famous Dzong situated on the banks of the river. Check-in on arrival and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay is in Punakha.

Day: 11 Punakha / Paro (125 Km / 5 Hrs)

Today after checkout we move towards the next destination in the Bhutan region as head towards Paro. Drive through the lush green countryside and enjoy some breathtaking views of the hilly region. Check-in on arrival and spend the free time visiting the local markets and stroll in the lanes lined with wooden shops. Return to hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day: 12 Paro City Tour

Start your day-long trip of the Paro attractions with a visit first to the National Museum, Ta Dong, which originally was a watchtower. Next, visit the “Fortress of the heap of Jewels” of the famous Rinpung Dzong Monastery. Visit the famous Tiger’s Nest- the unofficial symbol of Bhutan and other monasteries in the area. Overnight stay is in Paro.

Day: 13 Paro – Kolkata ( By Flight )

After breakfast checkout and drive towards the Paro Airport to catch your flight to Kolkata. Catch a glimpse of the Himalayan range as you flyover Bhutan and view the majestic Everest, Kanchenjunga and Makalu. Check-in on arrival and time to relax in the comfort of your hotel or free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay is in Kolkata.

Day: 14 Kolkata Sightseeing and Departure

After breakfast, start your daylong sightseeing which includes the landmarks of this once British Capital of the country. Major attractions include the Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge and Vidyasagar Setu, The Metro Railway Museum, National Library, Eden Garden, Fort William, Shaheed Minar, St Paul’s Cathedral, Missionaries of Charity, Dalhousie Square and Rat Park and Marble Palace. Visit the Birla Planetarium. Later check out from the hotel and proceed to the Airport for the further journey as your trip ends.
